Rita:

Our homes express the expectations and desires we each cherish. My passion for interior design stems from my love for people and the aspiration to help them achieve elegance and excellence; enhancing their own vision.

After receiving my college degree, I began my design career in Pacific Heights, San Francisco. I was mentored by a designer with high standards, and appreciation for sublime quality and a sure sense of her ability to create beauty.

Over the years I’ve continued to relish every opportunity to see my projects come to life. Each time, a unique sense of home emerges, and I am fulfilled in knowing that I have met my clients intentions.

The key word for me is harmony…ease of spirit. Our homes should support us, providing a beautiful environment which meets our every need.

George:

Growing up I was surrounded by the rolling hills and black-sand beaches of the New Zealand countryside. My Mother’s beautiful flower garden encircled our family home, which doubled as my Father’s art studio.

I developed a passion for travel and art while living abroad in London, England; Dublin, Ireland; and Brisbane, Australia. My interest in design began with antiques and learning the story behind each piece. When I found a vintage, 1974 edition of Terence Conran’s “The House Book,” it became an immediate favorite.

For the past 10 years, I’ve been a designer in the Bay Area. My aim is to create a home that is truly reflective of my clients’ individual personality and interests. An inviting home should be designed with timeless style, comfort, and whimsy. This can be seen in the variety of styles my clients’ homes represent, from classic to contemporary, and always fun.

Leslie:

I have a passion for creating light-filled, open and uncluttered spaces influenced by an appreciation for the fresh colors of nature – an instinctive artistic awareness I developed while growing up in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Working from the belief that you must love where you live, I focus on designing spaces that inspire joy and happiness.

I have a degree in Fine Art and Communications and my early career was with Sunset Magazine and then KQED, where I honed my skills with merchandising, and designing special events including fashion shows, elite restaurateur events and much more.

My interior design work has been featured in both local and national publications including House Beautiful, Forbes, Gentry Magazine, California Home & Design, Oakland Magazine, and many online sites.

With expertise from a 30-year visual merchandising and design career, I aim to help you understand and refine your own style, so you can enjoy the ‘art of living’ in your own home!
